About subtitle.im

subtitle.im is a Chrome extension for managing existing YouTube captions. It can turn on available caption tracks and use local OCR to detect burned-in subtitles. When two subtitle layers overlap, users can turn off confirmed duplicate YouTube captions and restore them whenever needed. It offers a free allowance and optional Pro access. It does not generate or translate subtitles, download videos, or remove burned-in text.
